1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Grammar Check - GrammarMe ("the App"), including its custom keyboard extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
GrammarMe provides:
- AI-powered grammar and spelling checking with multiple strictness modes
- Text rewriting, enhancement, expansion, reduction, and summarization
- Translation into 100+ languages
- Word definitions and synonym lookup
- Document scanning with OCR text extraction
- Voice-to-text dictation
- Text-to-speech playback
- A custom keyboard extension for grammar checking, rewriting, enhancing, and translating text directly in any app
The App is designed as a writing assistance tool. AI-generated corrections and suggestions should be reviewed before use.
3. Custom Keyboard Extension
The GrammarMe keyboard extension allows you to check grammar, rewrite, enhance, and translate text directly within third-party apps. By enabling and using the keyboard:
- You grant the keyboard permission to read text from the active text field when you explicitly request processing.
- The keyboard requires "Allow Full Access" to communicate with AI services over the network. Without Full Access, the keyboard cannot function.
- Text is processed only when you tap the "Process" button — the keyboard does not automatically read or transmit text.
- You are responsible for ensuring that any text you process through the keyboard does not violate third-party terms of service, confidentiality agreements, or applicable laws.
- You may disable or remove the keyboard at any time in iOS Settings without affecting the main app.
4. Free Tier & Subscriptions
GrammarMe offers:
- Free tier with generous daily usage limits (shared between the main app and keyboard)
- Unlimited Weekly subscription ($3.99/week)
- Unlimited Yearly subscription ($24.99/year)
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled 24 hours before renewal
- Refunds handled according to App Store policies
- Pricing may change with 30 days notice
5. AI Accuracy Disclaimer
While we use advanced AI models for text processing, GrammarMe may occasionally provide imperfect corrections or suggestions, both in the main app and the keyboard extension. Always review AI-generated output before using it in important documents. We are not liable for any consequences resulting from reliance on AI-generated corrections.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
- Upload inappropriate, harmful, or copyrighted content for processing
- Abuse the service or circumvent usage limits
- Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal usage
7. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Ideas All Day Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You retain ownership of any text you submit for processing.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
