IsaArboristBuddy uses artificial intelligence to identify tree species from photographs and provide information including leaf morphology, bark description, mature dimensions, USDA hardiness zones, native range, health diagnosis, disease and pest detection, care recommendations, species-specific pruning windows, and arborist-grade risk assessment. The App also offers ISA Certified Arborist exam preparation, a curated library of articles on arboriculture, and a per-tree AI chat for follow-up questions about any tree in your collection.
Identifications, diagnoses, and recommendations provided by the App are generated by AI and are for educational and reference purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of:
IsaArboristBuddy is not a substitute for a qualified ISA Certified Arborist. For tree-failure risk assessments, hazard tree evaluations, insurance documentation, expert-witness testimony, or any decision involving public safety, large or near-target trees, tree value/appraisal, or removals — consult an in-person ISA Certified Arborist or comparable licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
Articles about climbing systems (DdRT, SRT), knots (Blake's hitch and others), and rigging are educational reference material only. Tree climbing and rigging are inherently dangerous activities that require hands-on training under qualified instructors, proper personal protective equipment, ANSI Z133-compliant practices, and on-site judgment. Do not rely solely on the App for safety decisions. The App is not a replacement for formal arborist training.
Any mention of trunk injections, fungicides, insecticides, or other chemical treatments is educational background only. Always follow the product label, your local pesticide laws, and (where required) employ a licensed applicator. The App does not recommend specific products and is not liable for misuse.
We encourage tree-care practices aligned with ANSI A300 standards, ISA best management practices, the conservation of protected species, and ethical urban forestry. The App is intended to support learning, recreation, and professional practice — not to facilitate illegal removal of protected trees or unsafe DIY work on hazardous specimens.
The App includes a limited number of free identifications and offers an optional Pro subscription (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) managed through Apple's App Store. Subscription terms, pricing, renewal, and cancellation are governed by Apple's terms and your App Store account settings. To cancel, go to iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
The App, its design, content, and underlying technology are owned by Ideas All Day Ltd. Photos you take or import remain your property. We do not claim ownership of user-submitted photos and do not retain them on our servers after processing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ideas All Day Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including (without limitation) decisions made based on AI-generated species identifications, health diagnoses, risk assessments, care recommendations, climbing or rigging information, or pesticide and treatment references. You are responsible for verifying critical information with a licensed professional.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
