WineMe ("the App") is developed by Ideas All Day Ltd. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

Photos

When you scan a wine label, the photo is sent to our AI provider for analysis. Photos are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers after analysis is complete.

Wine Collection Data

Your identified wines, tasting notes, bottle counts, and collection data are stored locally on your device and synced via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics (Aptabase) to understand app usage patterns. This data is anonymous and cannot be traced back to individual users. We do not use fingerprinting or cross-app tracking.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone)
• Location data
• Contacts or address book
• Browsing history
• Data from other apps

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• AI Provider (Anthropic/Claude) — for wine label analysis. Photos are processed per their privacy policy.
• Apple iCloud — for syncing your wine collection across devices.
• Superwall — for subscription management.
• Aptabase — for privacy-focused, anonymous analytics.

Data Retention

Photos sent for analysis are not retained after processing. Your wine collection data persists on your device and iCloud account until you choose to delete it.

Your Rights

You can:

• Delete any wine from your collection at any time
• Delete all app data by removing the app
• Disable iCloud sync in iOS Settings
